THE CONTEST

For better or worse, in success and failure, here is the Jaywalker Quirk Contest.

Correctly identify 2 (only 2) pattern deviations between Sock 1 (correct) and Sock 2 (incorrect).

There is also a mistake. If you can spot it, it'll help in case of multiple correct answers.

If more than one person gets the 2 pattern deviations AND the mistake, then I will have Senor choose a name out of a hat.

The prize will be an as yet undecided ball or two of yarn from my stash. Very glamorous.

Here are the photos:

DEADLINE: MIDNIGHT DEC. 31ST!!

GO TO IT!!

Well, in the first view it appears that it's a stocking stitch on the bottom and plain old knit stitch one top...and, well, the cuffs are kinda obvious. But I'm out of shape, I can't identify everything by stitch name...

Cuff one's 2x2 rib (per pattern) and cuff two's 1x1 rib. Oops.

Arch one's got the slip stitches along the gusset (per pattern) and arch two does not.

Cuff two also looks a tiny bit wonky about the double decrease "column" along the right side of the picture. Arch two also has a tiny wonky spot above the gusset.

Sorry your Jays don't match. I love the pattern. (Done four pairs)
