Me Me Me Meme...

1. What were you doing ten years ago?

I was working at a government defense company AND Tower Records (I was working 8am to midnight, how did I do that?!). I thought I WAS Liv Tyler from "Empire Records"-- even dressed like her character one day, how cool am I? I was dating my manager, scandal, and watching my co-workers get fired for bringing pot brownies to work (I did not partake).

2. Five things on today's "to do" list (in no particular order)
- Make a To Do list (seriously)
- Rent "Point Break" in preparation for "Point Break Live"-- I am an F-B-I-Agent!!
- Rewash mildewing laundry in the washing machine (sorry, Senor)
- Floss
- Watch So You Think You Can Dance!!!

3. Snacks I enjoy

Pickled Ginger, Parmesian flavored goldfish crackers, wine (this totally counts), cheese on toast, ginger ale (but only on airplanes)

4. Things I would do if I was a millionaire

Pay off debt, buy a house, get Senor another car (which kind do you want?), set up a craft room, buy a new wardrobe, wear matching bra and undies everyday.

5. Places I have lived

Manhattan Beach, CA
Hermosa Beach, CA
El Segundo, CA
Canterbury, UK
Da Hood, CA (also known as USC)
Sorority House @ USC-- Once we all got food poisoning from the ice machine, but this is irrelevant to the Meme.

I tag no one, but feel free to participate if you'd like... that is, assuming you haven't already.

I want to play!

1. I was rehearsing my role as "Father/Fruity Manservant" in Theatre IV's summer tour of "Beauty and the Beast."

2. a) Run four miles as soon as I get home from work. b) Leave no dish behind. c) Help Senora with the laundry. d) Put the Weepies on my iPod. e) Breathe.

3. Port wine cheese on Ritz crackers. Ice cream. Chicken In A Biskit. Wack chumps.

4. Seeing as how Senora's list would have me covered, I'll take a Dr. Pepper, please. (How much are you going to spend on my car, Sweetie?)

5. Memphis, TN; Hot Springs, AR; Fort Worth, TX; El Paso, TX; Saginaw, MI; Russellville, AR; Richmond, VA; Costa Mesa, CA; Los Angeles, CA; El Segundo, CA.

Can I play too??? (It’s Ashley)

1. What were you doing ten years ago?
I was living in a studio apartment that was way too small and way too expensive, working at Ketchum and pretending I was good at public relations.

2. Five things on today's "to do" list (in no particular order)
- Put last night’s dishes in the dishwasher
- Take Maddison to meet the kids I taught
- Start my diet (again)
- Go to the gym (any bets on if I actually go??)
- Clean my computer room and put away all my school books (!)

3. Snacks I enjoy
Anything with chocolate, Ruffles potato chips, a Coke with lots of ice

4. Things I would do if I was a millionaire
Pay off my student loans, give my mom money to pay off the loans she took out for me, pay off the house, buy Adam a 1964 Mustang (one of the good ones), put away money for Maddison… then go shopping
*Side note: someone in the next small town over won $2 million in the lottery… lucky bastards!

5. Places I have lived
Arlington, TX
Corpus Christi, TX
The Ghetto (USC)
Sorority House @ USC
Century City, CA (Technically still Los Angeles)
Myrtleford, Vic, Australia
Now if you could the number of actual houses I’ve lived in, that’s a much bigger number!!

Ooh, fun!

1. Adjusting to life back in the states after a semester in Scotland. Working in an Ann Arbor apartment complex and watching the Red Wings win the Stanley Cup (it's like deja vu).

2. Attend meeting this morning (check). Write newsletter. Haircut and color this afternoon. Start in on piles of laundry. Break up random fight between kiddies.

3. I so agree that wine counts! Other favorites include Doritos, pizza rolls, and dark chocolate-covered almonds.

4. Pay off my house and then pay someone to fix a lot of things in it. Set aside chunks for kids' college, which will probably cost almost that much. Visit my dear twinnie out in CA.

5. Mt. Pleasant, MI; Ann Arbor, MI; Washington, DC; St. Andrews, Scotland; Lansing, MI.

Liv Tyler's wardrobe in Empire records was practically my uniform for about two years. I had so many tiny skirts and tight sweaters. I'm actually surprised my mom let me out of the house like that...
