Happy Easter

This is how we'll be celebrating tomorrow:



Cake #2: Chocolate cake with strawberry whipped cream filling. Yum!

We made our own fondant out of marshmallows and confectioners sugar, which we then dyed two shades of turquoise and the pink. Then we used colored frosting to add the details. All in all, 6-7 hours of work, a few tears, some worry about whether the top layer would slide right off the bottom... but it was very bright and cheerful and, most importantly, dee-licious!

you just like playing with the fondant. Though I don't understand how something made from marshmallows and sugar can taste so blah.
